Wish it was that easy, adventra09, lot of rubbish on the market.
Thought I found a gem at 100 Dykes St Mt Gravatt, 5 bd's, 2 bthrm's, in ground pool, was $569 not long ago, could have got it for $450 maybe, asking $509+, not far out of Brissie, BUT, it's more 4 studdies, 1bd, lucky to fit a single bed in 4 of the rooms, in ground pool is not compliant which needs to be to rent, no safety switches on switchboard which you need to have to rent.
Thought to myself, bit like buying in USA, Caveat Emptor lol
Most worthwhile properties are under contract, subject to finance or selling there own, obviously a lot fall through.
In Brissie wanting to buy a couple of investment properties now, but more likely wait, Maybe another 20/30% to drop, nobody really knows, rents for good properties will obviously rise, but who wants to buy a good/ decent property for around $500/600K 4/5 Bd and put trades in it.
Not this punter, watching closely though, maybe pay $300/$350, insurei it to the hilt and wack trades in mightbea different story.
