We should be thankful that Fidelity, hoovered up the 36m odd shares since September 24. Without FIT the shorts who short sold more than 24m shares might have pushed the shareprice down to the low ones mind you they still managed to push it down to a new 52 week low.
Watching with interest how these 24million shorts get bought back and returned to Statestreet. Tick tock tick tock. Mondays half yearly report and presentations is the next chance for the company to reset sentiment.
