you are right. this is a classification for the perm for conventional oil and gas reservoirs. Shell Jonker got perm= 0,7 mD Total Mangetti Perm = below 1 mD Total Venus got Perm= 2-4 mD
Galp Mopane did not tell if a) perm is good according to this perm classification OR b) if perm is good according to the comparison to the Shell, Total, Chevron wells
IF the Mopane perm is good according to the perm classification, Saturn could have a Mopane compareable perm as well and than we have the chance that Saturn could be a super monster.
Somewhere I read that GALP could have a recovery factor of 35%. If true than I estimate and guess the Mopane perm is not in the 1.000 mD range but in the 100, 200 mD range perhaps. Which still would be a great result with the low viscosity oil, condensate (in line with a preferable thick pay zone like more than 100 meters)
