I would like to correct you Merchant. The December photograph was site clearance. This one is excavation to reduce level for concrete placement. Note the excavation limits and it would appear to me that this is preparation for a slab : -



As a former Contractor in Africa, I can advise that mobilisation period is normally two or three months. Staffing, recruitment, logistics etc by Grupo Arliz. Be aware that Cabinda is a fairly remote area in terms of logistics, i.e. not an international port at this stage. Local equipment is certainly available for initial site clearance as was seen in December photograph with minimal contractor supervision. The current photograph is certainly preparitory for concrete works and we should expect to see some progress on that front soon.

Although the past couple of months has been frustrating, I have confidence that we are making good progress.
