Curiosity got the better of me on this bet and wanting to work out who's good to their word and who is not I went back and reviewed the posts to find out who I believe 'got it right'.

So tvhead...you saying they are going to finish 30+ or 19.5 or lower??

tvhead made his bet conditions simple:
they wont be higher than 20 cents by the 1st day of 2011. Easy bet.

And finally sales makes the deal:

Make it a bottle of that Bourbon for yourself and a bottle of Whisky of same vale for me as the bet of 20c for me and less for you ie under 20c KRL sp on 01/01/2011
You said 6 months but I will take this just over 2 month bet

How about a 2nd bet of the 6 months of I say above 33c no later than 20th April and the bet is minimum $1,000
Or in shares the bet can be minimum 500 KRL shares

If I had to adjudicate I'd have to call it a draw. There's no consensus reached on what would happen if it finished at 20 cents at end of year. It's the one possibility that you both accepted the bet on different views on. If it had finished at 19.5 cents I'd have ruled in favour of tvhead because consensus was reached (though later disputed) that it was the end of year price and not the reaching anytime before end of year price, that was agreed on (sorry sales but re-read your own words above as the final say on the bet). Obviously if it had finished at 20.5 it would have been a clear win for sales.

So if you want an independent arbitrator's take on it that's how I'd call it. The share price was 20cents at end of year. sales' words "ie under 20c KRL sp on 01/01/2011" meant that the SP had to be under 20 cents for tvhead to lose. tvhead's words "they wont be higher than 20 cents by the 1st day of 2011." create the exact opposite condition for sales to win. No consensus on what an exact finish of 20 cents would mean.
