you’re guessing at what the obligations would’ve been and what the plan would’ve been; we’ve got absolutely no info on either. No info on who the JV partner is, whether they have a shred of expertise or financial backing, but it’s safe to assume no to both, since nothing was highlighted.
I understand this is a positive development in that it simplifies our focus to QLD and stops the financial drain in Mongolia, even though that was very small. There are many other scenarios that could’ve been better and achieve the same thing, this cheap and easy surrender is most unsatisfying. May as well have set fire to 40 million bucks would be same outcome, but that’s exploration as you say.
nevertheless I expect on balance the market views this as Somewhat positive so I should probably just be happy.
