The thing to remember about Corus is that if it goes ahead, it will be huge.
The whole reason this process has taken so long is because they are developing a world class product that they can put their name on proudly and sell to their customers in good faith that it will withstand their industrial uses for it and perform as specified.
Colorbond probably wasn't invented, developed, tested and launched in a week either.

It's been terribly slow, and who knows they might still decide that the project simply isn't viable. But *if* it goes ahead, all past sins will be forgiven, because the product will be top-notch and make us plenty of cash.
