I had 10,000 shares of PAR, and the next day I had those shares and 2,500 shares of PAROA.
The 2,500 shares of PAROA had a purchase price of $0.00 and I bought another 7,500 shares of PAROA which gave me a new purchase price of $0.106
Since then, PAR and PAROA have both gone up in value and I'm sitting on a profit of:
PAR - $1,255.00
PAROA - $1,339.00
Since PAR has gone up to $0.61
and my PAR purchase price was $0.485, why would I continue buying shares of PAR if I can buy shares of PAROA at $0.24, much cheaper than paying $0.61?
What am I missing? It can't be that black and white to buy more shares of PAROA at a cheaper price than buying shares of PAR.
What will happen on Feb 11, 2026, at the expiry date, to my 7,500 PAROA shares that I bought?
I can read the prospectus, but I'm just unsure and relatively new to "options" and "piggybacking"
Explain it to me like I'm 5 years old.
