I have noticed that most on this forum were happy when abboot planned to have his tax/levy to pay for mothers earning up to $150k on their paid parenting leave free-for-all but scoff at the idea of paying some extra coin to rebuild half of Queensland.
I also recall johnny bringing up a tax/levy to pay for a commercial airline company going bust. I didn't hear many complaints back then.I think the tax went on for about 5 years.Most went into internal revenue and still no one complained.
