They are making a larger provision for bad debts because they believe the ANZ and US economies are vulnerable. It is close to dobling, but elsewhere it represents an increase of 400%.
The loans you marked are the underlying facilites that ZIP borrows with, enabling it to lend to its customers. They are rolled over and refinanced when they fall due, so the only variables which impact profit are the interest rates attached to them which are still relatively high.
They won't be making a yearly profit of $500 mil.
