There's scientific theories describing 10, 11 or up to 26 other dimensions.

Think more in terms of human perception capabilities rather that what's 'out there'. I don't think an 'out there' actually exists. Depending on how free our minds are, our ability to perceive more of reality increases.
Have you seen this? The flatlanders are afraid and confused when a 3D object pokes into their 2D reality, but when given an elevated perspective, they understand.
