Attempts to create momentum (on the back of good news) is a time-worn strategy that can backfire.
For a T+3 to do this is 'dumb' I guess.
For a liquid investor, they are still left holding a de-risked stock with plenty of potential and the late sales give a reasonable averaged entry position, with low additional entry points available.
Just musing....should get back to my work!!
