It's difficult to know when share prices rise and fall or indeed what a share is worth - all have differing views and aspirations - even analysts differ. If however, one goes by management's spiel, management indicated a 'target' of $1bill MC within two years (not from now, but from the time of the announcement sometime back). Should that eventuate within that time frame or thereabouts, we're looking at a tenfold rise from current share prices (provided there are no more cr's along the way to dilute). I would be more than happy at that level but of course there are some here who are even more bullish perhaps looking for a whale rather than a shark.
There are also many who pip trade to make a quick buck - perhaps enough for some sardines. It is obviously a sure way of making some money and fast - but for some time now, decided to just sit tight, let pips go up and down, not phased, as looking for bigger fish, a shark will do nicely - as you say it may take a while yet but when it happens (rather than if), it will be a worthwhile wait.
Should an entity the size of a shark or whale take us out in the interim I guess that's fine too, provided it's at several multiples from current sp levels - still be happy with that, excepting that so many smaller Australian companies have been swallowed by overseas entities which may be ok for holders but not too good for the country itself - that though is outside of retail holder control.
Haven't yet mastered the art of conciseness. Some people complain about lack of detail in company reports - I'd be happy to oblige and use some 'color' to fill in the blanks.
