    Hi Rhys ….
Revisiting the presentation, slide after slide seems to dovetail in with the 50MW VFB Roger Cook promised would be built by 2029 for Kalgoorlie … should Labour be reflected in WA.
Should it be so, then securing the best spot, or even a ‘priority location’ in relation to the grid would definitely be on the agenda…. Or even putting dibs on a couple of spots .
And presuming the battery would cost more than the $150m, how strong a lure would that gov. funding cornerstone be for other investors?

Rather than getting too confirmation-biased along this thinking track I remember other presentations have also talked up the fact VFBs can be placed on otherwise unusable land? (Or something like that?) so I guess there are back up plans to secure another 50MW VFB battery FID on a different location if Kalgoorlie falls through.
In regards that, there’s still whatever our new Victorian-based hire is working on to consider as well as the triangular relationship with CellCube, AVL and North Harbour Clean Energy in the Eastern states …
    - So much potential in different areas!

    cheers
