Fuel up at service staions up 34 to 42( yes they reduce fuel subsidy but not by this much )' flow on effect is many motor bikes idle Food inflation at the cheap end is also high, rice with beef 200 bht on the beach Beer,,at retail up 80 bht to 120 bht Beer at supermarkets 30 up to 40 Lunch and food for two in basic thai shacks with drinks working out at 20aud Usual retailers all wanting 300 i stead of 200 bht for cotton t shirts Transportation, taxis wanting 20 pc more for standard trips Motor yach charters up 25 pc
In vietnam however where i was expecting to see the biggest jump across basic items, the price have remained constant it appears..........
