What I mean by "sick" is that the sector is extremely bearish across the board.
This makes it very hard to sustain any meaningful uptrend , even with good fnancial performance.
We see it in all sectors.....a whole sector will be universally bullish or bearish.
A bullish sector will uplift even the laggards & bearish sector will drag down the better ones.
It will be an uphill battle till the sentiment towards the industry change, perhaps through consolidation , M&A , or some other means.
It seems this industry has a problem with huge overcapacity , hence the fierce competition with the paticipants cannibalizing themselves.
