If they had 160 sites, revenue would be right up there by now. I reckon Ideagen is lobbing a hopeful non committal bid, coincidentally only a few days after the half year results, because they like what they see. If they didn't they wouldn't go for it. If EVS does manage to double its revenue every 5 years, then that would be a very small price to have paid in 10 years time. They'd be popping the champagne corks and be getting all that original outlay back every year in dividends I would suspect. They're playing the long game that most of us retails aren't interested in. EVS said it would have to be a unanimous board decision. Can't see Hitachi's board member agreeing to it because they also play a long game. Regardless it shows just how quickly EVS' sp can move under the right conditions.
