You've hit the nail on the head @flyer100. If we want this proposal improved, the problem becomes how do we get about 1,000 out of the 10,000 small shareholders to vote no or as others have suggested how do we get another new 500 to 1,000 small shareholders on the register to vote No before the record date (not yet set).
I should have looked at that shareholder distribution before because it's quite revealing, over 90% of shareholders own 5,000 shares or less, this is our target group and it also tells me that the shares owned by this group is less than 8M shares so defeating the 75% test is not going to happen without institutional backing.
Anyone knows how to either reach this group or alternatively get another 1,000 on the register?
