I like that "tremors" idea.

Of course the question is by how far does a tremor preceed the main eruption?

In a general sense, EWT suggests 4th waves (a correction towards the end of a move) are often out of the blue and unexpected. A surprise to most and quickly ignored as a final upswing ensues which lacks fundamental backing.

Not saying this applies here.
