There may have been some foresight in them becoming increasingly out of favour in the coming months -- ie another production delay, problems at the CEO level, the key one perhaps being Trump and his mental nutcase mate. Maybe it was a case of getting cash in the door ASAP to ensure they could survive what would be a turbulent, volatile year -- and ultimately another year of failure.
I called this months and months ago for the record: the operating environment with Biden/Harris was much more favourable than Trump for various reasons. Many of which we are seeing before our eyes; unfortunately, I reckon there are still some issues that we might see resulting from this.
