Every now and then I have to respond to something like this. "are the shorts going to clamp the price down for the instos". On so many threads re so many stocks someone is always claiming that short selling drives down the price of a stock. It is just nonsense. Almost like flat earth and fake moon landing conspiracy theories. It's not just you Comfortably Numb so don't take it personally. But I want you to explain how short selling per se can clamp down the price of a stock. Sorry but I am just sick of hearing this. I have never shorted a stock and never will but short sellers take their chances like the rest of us.
