My thought are NMT probably can recycle these but there might not be the scrap value in the contents in comparison to Li battery, two things to note is before the solid state ones go live there will already be a substantial amount of Li batteries to recycle, second they must recycle over 90 odd percent of the car including the batteries so these must be recycled regardless the scrap value. MB unlikely to design a single life battery that couldn’t be recycled.
Question remains can our tech recycle it, from memory I thought Chris may have been asked this at one of his presentations way back (but not sure ) think his answer was yes but less money in these and focus was on the higher value content, but don’t quote me on that. Loop.
