@1ronnie what I try to point out to you is nearly all of the leaders in the USA have done wrong.
We are left with picking the lesser evil.
Trump/Musk are trying to get things done by riding roughshod over the normal checks and balances that dramatically slow things down such as the Senate and judges.
In Australia we have the property inter-generational problem created by both main parties failing to address the unfair tax advantages giving a few % advantage year after year eventually resulting in the young being locked out of the property market due to this distortion in property price versus income. If you like our approach to democracy and 3- or 4-year terms has inbuilt problems that the long-term highlights. Maybe circuit breakers like Trump are the required fix.
The normal approach just sees the problems persists and get worse.
A bit like stock market crashes - the circuit breaker to capitalism gone too far. High stock prices, way above fair value represent unearned income and maybe unearned income is the problem. It certainly is the intergenerational property problem in Australia.
