There are a few professional downrampers infesting this site and they are playing the current situation for all it is worth. The gold lining for AAM is the Delta deposit and it has billion dollar plus potential. If the professional downrampers can kick the price hard enough they will swoop on Delta like the vultures they are.
The share price has already been sold down but has it been sold down enough to reflect a disappointing quarterly? We will find out today.
A1 has a plant now running above nameplate capacity. Ore supply issues meant the company needed to treat low grade ore for some of the quarter but even so, grades are less than predicted. Now that I'm back in, I plan to find out why and I will report back. Supergene ore can be tricky to spot but run of mine quartz ore is much more straightforward.
Even with the plant treating low grade for much of the quarter, cash costs are reported as still well below the POG. The company is slowly becoming profitable and if they can start digging better grade dirt, with less dilution, A1 can turn a better profit in the coming quarter.
