Youre right. They definitely pumped up the response, there's no doubt about it. I would argue most companies would do the same.
what I disagree with that the company did was put out initial timelines with very unrealistic deadlines. They had dose expansion being completed 6 months ago! This had set unrealistic expectations for everyone involved. They also stated clarify would be completed this quarter. But in their half yearly, I didn't even seen a headline for it. I would argue it's nearly disingenuous what timelines were set.
AT and his bullish sentiment of his company is of no concern to me. I want someone who has complete confidence in his/her asset. It's ultimately up to me and investors to determine if we agree with them.
entering the asx200/300 is a bad thing for early stage biotechs and I very nearly pulled the trigger for the sale, which in hindsight would've been the right decision, which is a valuable lesson for me. I need to get better at looking at shorter term trades, rather than staying for the whole strategy. But long term, the science and IP is solid enough to still be comfortable to hold during the lows.
