Yeah i agree with your thoughts on the assets here.
As far hanging onto a stock through all of the ups and downs until the end; IMO you're always better off selling into the big speculative rush such as we saw here, especially if it's pumped into the ASX200 or 300. That was likely the high for the next year or so.
People are more averse to paying tax than is really warranted.
