That was because the company was in a far more speculative situation than now. It's been explained to you countless times, yet you fail to acknowledge. We've been through the ringer and came out the other side proving the inability to produce at scale. What you're describing is also at a time where offtakes/strategic partners were at an "advanced" stage, contingent on (x) milestones being complete. However here we are in 2025, after all such milestones completed, with no strategic partner in sight.
The company now must raise ~10x their market cap in funding to complete a small (comparatively speaking) 10ktpa upgrade. Keeping in mind it's a complete gamble with their track record, in getting a facility 5 times larger working to spec. Not a good look for potential strategic partners - not that there would be any considering AGY at this current time.
Reality doesn't care about people's opinions. You have to take the current position at face value, which you continually fail to do. Understandably, you have a reputation to uphold on this forum, so I don't think anyone really expects any critical thinking from you anyway.
