Update. Another 15mm of rain this afternoon. BOM have cancelled our flood watch. The creek is barely running 100mm above the bed and it is at least 15m to the top of the bank. All the supermarkets have closed in town and will be shut tomorrow at this stage. The media vultures are perched outside every flood prone town waiting for a major catastrophe. A nursing home on a hill in town has asked for 400 sand bags. It seems that people are becoming hysterical. Some have already moved into evacuation centres in town when there has been zero flooding. Good luck to those on the coast and further north should Alfred do a dirty on you.
