Net positions eh? Yes that info would be handy although I can't see them agreeing to it and who would be responsible for collating it all. I’ve tried with no success to find out ROI that shorting fees come in at and has there been a large increase over the past few years? I’m told that there are more platforms dedicating more shorting services therefore the fees obviously make it viable to the lenders of script.
Look overall it’s pretty easy to learn from the past 5 years that when a stock is progressing towards 300 and then 200 inclusion, if the stock is not revenue producing (most Bio’s) then expect a reversal of trend and bank your profits. Now I accept that’s a simplified summary but something to be written into the diary.
