I don't believe that enough shareholders would accept such a low ball figure. Of course most short term holders if not all would leap onto it like a blowfly to a dead skunk on the front steps of 'The Orstralian News' headquarters building, but their total shareholdings would not be anywhere near large enough to do the trick. But enough of that unrealistic fantasy. To my knowledge J&J have signalled no such interest in that particular flight of fancy.
Having said all of that, I'll keep on dreaming.... dreaming of the extremely large increase in shareholder value which will inevitably come to all patient long term holders...... all in my humble opinion, of course.
