The incentive to proceed with the Renard option isn’t there either, mate—so should we just drop that too? It’s Chris’ responsibility to make strategic decisions in the best interests of shareholders. CE was literally on the PWM board. While we may not have predicted the full extent of PWM’s share price surge, it was already clear last year that our PWM holding was a crucial part of this company’s value.
On 30 Dec 2024, PWM was trading at 47c, and at the expiry date, it was 43c—that’s still a 7% incentive, even at the lower price. It’s Chris’ job to steer this company in the right direction, and the fact that he didn’t even know the correct expiry date is a disgrace.
Here are the facts: WR1 had the opportunity to secure those options at a minimum 7% discount. Instead, due to poor due diligence, the options have expired, and a potential $7.5 million profit has vanished. The facts speak for themselves, and I won’t entertain excuses for what is clearly a failure in managing this transaction.
This is the second incorrect date in just a few weeks!
