I think you are the one posting rubbish, a company does not drill holes for s$%t and giggles, the rationale would be that the existing open pits might be expanded if there is suitable mineralisation along strike or down dip from know mineralisation. Orebodies often don't stop at the edge of old historical pits, they may continue beyond the existing pit limits. The intention of drilling is usually to add to resources that could potentially be mined, and adjacent to an existing pit on a granted mining lease is a fairly reasonable place to start. They are simply drilling south to north for logistical reasons and its obvious that the company would report results from drilling as the results come back from the lab.

Far Fanning is some distance away and has its own logistical and permitting challenges for access, mining and road transportation, but I would expect that its road access (i.e. drill rig access) at the moment after the wet season that has got the company thinking about potential ore sources that aren't so far away. Another consideration is also that any future mining near Black Jack itself might generate waste rock dumps, and possibly they were also trying to confirm and do QA/QC on historical drilling at Blackjack mining lease before they dump waste rock over the top of what could potentially be an economic resource in the future, thats why people do drilling. To locate and confirm mineral resources.

Sorry if you think that drill results and grade reconciliation are "irrelevant nonsense", but thats your own opinion.
