I’m an agnostic on the Swami Raote issue except to say that it’s hard for me to imagine that a remote control CEO could be effective.
But my concerns regarding David Williams long preceded this latest dust-up. Boiled down, the impression I have formed over the past two or so years is the R&D is no longer a focus, and i think that the market sees this as well. The market seems to be rating the company as a medical commodity manufacturer and not a technology innovator. This is fatal to the share price, as we have seen - all prior to this latest embarrassment and apparent dishonesty.
