Coal power in the US will be supplied from current US mines or new USA coal mines. This will be a benefit to no other country. Trump will ensure this by putting tariffs on coal (along with everything else).
Economically, tariffs are horrible. He might get a few 'wins' from his tariff tactics but only because the USA is the worlds largest economy coming from a position of power. Tariffs will eventually lead to his downfall.
