EL,
My overall point once again; I do not plan on investing any time soon in USA/Financial companies due to their opaqueness and lack of clarity of their financial statements. Secondly, when Citigroup failed and was bailed out, who did better, the investor who had shares in Citigroup or the investor was invested in virtually any other non-financial related company?
In relation to the overall global financial stability, I have "done better" than investing just in potash. I am no gold bug and I do not believe that gold/silver are currencies however I have taken positions in these precious metals.
I've done quite well with STB and I've been in AAA for about two years, so not a bad return. As long as the fundamental development of these companies continues, I plan on holding them in my speculative portfolio until buyout or the mines are built. Worked well for me with KCL and API.
Neither you or I know if potash is in a bubble.
If the universe collapses to a singularity etc., I very much doubt that the normal "laws" of physics will apply. The normal laws of physics apply in a normal environment.
The only way we'll know about the setting of a collapsed universe is to run some experiments........I'll report back to the board the results of these experiments if the event occurs. Hopefully, I'll be able to fund these experiments with some gold/silver........not as if funds are easily available from the granting agencies, these days.
Sam
