Thats a fair point, and ofcourse their are unofficial shorts that go on too. But in reality the window was fairly small.

If you shorted at 60c, then it had nothing to do with these current issues and more to do with a general negative outlook on the stock.

If someone waited for this news to break and opened the short as it fell from 60c to 45c, then they had limited time to organise.

Some people will profit from a falling shareprice, but nothing anyone says now during a trading halt can help their cause. Likewise for people that talk the stock up.

At the end of the day the DMR will decide.

All of us have learnt from this situation and I hope I learn more as it unfolds.

It would be nice if PL released the Q&A that he mentioned. It may clear a few things up.
