Labor Govt always tries to solve problems by creating/increasing taxes. Would it ever occur to them that Australia has a store of huge untapped commodity wealth, and if they eased their restrictions on mining and exploration, we could easily provide for current and future natural disasters, boost employment, repay the deficit, and enjoy a better standard of living.
