It goes a quite a bit deeper than just Trump alone. Even if he is gone the shift in US politics that he has been instrumental in bringing about will remain, and that shift is just far to unpredictable and destabilizing. He's exposed and triggered some serious systemic problems in the US that have long been known to exist. Until they really acknowledge this and deal with them, beyond just putting the lid back on them, the rest of the world is going to be a lot more wary of trusting and depending on US. The longer it takes for them get their act together the more nations will reduce economic, and other, dependency.
