@pints. .... I agree with the premiss.....
we have a problem that is of the extremist political views we've seen rising over rate last decade. both here and in the US and elsewhere.
China is being made to feel the pressure of western hostility. if we are to address this problem we first need to reduce the heat in the politics. it serves no national security factors to aggravate China's sense of rejection. this only results in China feeling threatened.
the way to peace is to make friends, not enemies.
but given we won't be able to change American views, we can only fix our own problems if we have a will to do so, we must accept the threat posed by China now to be a clear warning.
Dutton shouted loud and clear that we must prepare for War with China. we cannot afford to be complaisant.... Dutton is a danger to Aus national security.
