Another company I hold, the MD recently sold 90% of his holding.
This co was the 2nd best performer on the ASX for calender 2010.
SP fell about 25% over the selldown period
No explanation has been forthcoming
A postulation is that is to meet a tax debt on vested shares and options etc.
Does anyone know how the ATO deal with these issues??...was in the press some time ago, could cause problems for some companies at the speccie end.
I am not comfortable at all with MD selling down big time, unless there is a definite reason.
imo if this is the reason, they should make an ann to that effect
directors selling due to tax?
