Medecins Sans Frontier today explained the urgent need for a new TB diagnostic in HIV endemic countries. One that will diagnose extra-pulmonary and latent TB (ie QFT-Gold).

A growing list of US medical associations have added their backing to the implementation of QFT-Gold in submissions to the CDC.
