In my view and many others RMS and SPR and all gold and silver stocks are very cheap - they could double in price quite easily to be seen as fair value without much of an increase in POG. I do consider RMS to be cheap.
The larger MC gold stocks are more highly valued than smaller ones so a combined RMS/SPR will probably be worth more than the 2 separate entities in time especially if the POG keeps climbing.
As for the premium it is what it is - one can be disappointed but never say no to a good profit. For those who loaded up on SPR early and held until now it has been the ride of a lifetime and for some life changing. Accepting RMS shares will probably not incur CGT.
If RMS is rerated then SPR holders will still do very well.
I remember AZS shareholders were disappointed in the TO price but it ended up being a great price in hindsight. One can get too greedy and end up being worse off. I did extremely well out of AZS. And never thought I would do as such again but did so with SPR (almost exactly the same profit $ in both).
