I think it’s important to highlight that even if we don't emerge from this US/DRC minerals deal with a direct offer from a US based company, there are broader factors at play that significantly strengthen our position.

What AVZ and any serious US investor or stakeholderwillneedis 100% assurance that the DRC is not only adhering to its own Mining Code but also respecting international legal frameworks, particularly the rulings and protections provided under the ICC and ICSID. These legal assurances are critical for moving forward for the US to have interest in any deal, regardless of who ultimately partners with AVZ.

So, while a short-term exit or takeover might not be immediately on the table, I believe this situation nonetheless paves the way for a mining license to finally be granted so the DRC demonstrates they are following these frameworks. Once that happens, we’ll have far more freedom to advance with mining, attract investment or selling on our own terms.

In short, this isn’t just about a quick deal necessarily, it’s about the US requiring proof of established legal and operational certainty, the benefit for us might just be a side effect.

Having said all that, I do think if something moves ahead, the US will want Manono under their umbrella of influence.
