Driven by combination of shrewd deal making/acquisitions, aggressive drilling programs and ample access to capital in an environment of booming gold prices all quickly translating to high alpha performance relative to sector peers.
Hence no surprise the big end of town is now loudly knocking on the door. This in turn potentially opens the door to even bigger and better deals going forward. Any m&a at the giant end of town (which seems increasingly likely) will cast off all sorts of wonderful opportunities for smaller players like GG8 IMO
