Can you point out where in my post I suggested women shouldn't work? Or where I suggested spending more of one's time with one's child (whether it be father or mother) was "stepping back in time"?

do you think it is a good use of the resources of a society if couples are both forced to work 50 hour weeks to provide sufficient mortgage payments to own a home?

do you think this much of a society's borrowing should be directed into the non productive housing sector? or would perhaps use of these funds as business lending be more advisable? you know, the kind of investment that leads to innovation, job creation, training. Not the kind of investment that leads to property flipping

What would be a better society, one where everyone worked ~70% as much, and house prices were lower, or one with a religion of long work hours, all to pay the mortgage (which, thank god, isn't dead money like rent!)
