Question for more experienced gold bugs than I; what are people's thoughts on the odds of a larger entity (either foreign or domestic) making a play for the combined SPR/RMS company? I know itt' been mentioned as a possibility- but do people think this is just wishful thinking, or actually within the realms of realistic probability?

I tried to look up the history of such things, but it's actually quite difficult (for me) to pull all the old announcements from companies that I never heard of because they existed before my time, and therefore the names/tickers are unknown to me. But folk who've been playing in this space for while no doubt have some of these deals inked in their memory - some are probably quite fun to revisit, others are maybe the scenes of horror, apologies for those!
