Another piece of the puzzle is the nbbo. In Aus it is the ASX and the cboe (CXA). The midpoint is calculated using data from both.
Basically two trading platforms, although only the asx handles settlements.
If you download todays course of sales for HRZ, from say Commsec, all the trades will have either cxa or asx next to them.
I had a quick look and all the labelled crosstrades (cxxt) were done via asx, but there were also a couple of .0655 midpoint trades under cxa.
