For the non-holders it might be a good buying opportunity if this well is sub-commercial. I would expect the SP to decrease sharply if the flow rate has decreased to about 0.5 mmscf/d. I can sympathise with those still holding, it's a high stress situation, a bit like a submarine that's too deep with bolts popping off everywhere. But the SP is sure to recover over the next few weeks and months.
Recent reports of exciting news might be a reference to new exciting plans. I just can't see how this well can flow at a stabilized rate of 2-3 mmscf/d after nearly 2 weeks based on the permeability info published in the Taroom Trough research papers (reference to mapped permeability of 0.1 mD and tabulated data with < 0.15 mD). However, if these papers are misleading and the well test perm is calculated to be around 0.7 -1.0 mD, then it's game on and the SP might fly. Good luck
