The relentless bot activity has been seriously annoying. I've kept telling myself that LT it doesn't matter AS LONG AS the resultant SP is not used to issue more capital !!!!!
Trying to be positive, the SP has still seen a fairly good run recently (if we ignore the slamming it has received in very short order that killed the momentum surging up and over $4.00), and we all know companies get trigger fingers to set themselves up when the opportunity arises, even more so in an uncertain global environment. But as other posters have lamented before, we do tend to be making habit of doing CR's just BEFORE good news and just BEFORE the next expected run - which is obviously the Olaroz DFS/JV.
Triage, your rationale of securing greater financial independence prior to crossing pens with Toyota sounds feasible. Hopefully there's no issue with the DFS or JV that would bring additional urgency to such pre-emption. From the recent quarterly everything appears well on track AFAICS, albeit delayed from earlier target dates. Another factor could be funds for use outside Olaroz. I would be very surprised if a number of suitors (in addition to TT) haven't been chasing a date with our 2nd project at SG and the recent delays there caused by equipment availabilty may be weighing on this funding decision as well. Could we even be looking to develop this ourselves, at least initially? Also Cauchari is looming as a project that may now need some funding brought forward fairly expediently, to get in and establish our rights in what will hopefully be some reasonably friendly positioning with LAC. Other pipeline projects could also be in the mix - we knew very little about SG for example until it appeared in a stunning announcement last year. Could there be something else out there?
Now the many open mouths are (once again) being fed lets see them now make good on their promise and finally deliver on this supposed gateway to the establishment in Toronto / North America - and IMO a more balanced response that reflects ORE's true status in relation to some of the other championed players.
At least this should further swell the Market Cap and help bring forward an S&P/ASX re-rating and resultant further entry of larger players.
