Gallium does not typically occur in concentrated deposits on its own. Gallium is a relatively rare element in the Earth's crust, with an average abundance of about 19 parts per million, and it is usually found dispersed within other minerals rather than as a standalone ore.

Most gallium is produced as a byproduct of mining and processing other metals, primarily bauxite (an aluminum ore) and, to a lesser extent, zinc ores."

Does anyone know of any mines that process a gallium mineral as the primary ore? If so what is the grade?
